Mt. Manaslu is lies in the western part of Nepal, north side of Gorkha district along the Kali Gandaki valley. This mountain was previously known as Kutan l. 'tang' being the Tibetan word for flat place, thereby describing the mountain's general summit. It was then renamed Manaslu which comes from the Sanskrit word "Manasa" meaning "intellect" or "soul". It was first climbed by Mr. Tashio. Imanishi of Japan on May 09, 1956 via North East Face route. There exist half a dozen different routes on Manaslu today. The south face of this ‘Mountain of intellect’ is arguably the toughest in climbing history as well as peak 29 is very famous located in this area too.
Nowadays the climbers attracted to climb this beautiful mountain and from summit you can see many mountains of Annapurna and Ganesh Himal range as well as Tibetan dry land.
