Nagarkot is a famous place to see the mountain ranges and sunrise. It lies at an altitude of 2211m and is located 30 km north east of Kathmandu. It is the nearest place to see Mt. Everest from Kathmandu valley. In fact if the weather is clears one can see Annapurna range too from Nagarkot. Other famous mountains that can be seen from Nagarkot are Ganesh, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa and Gauri Shanker. Though Mt. Everest is far from Nagarkot, it can be viewed from the Nagarkot Tower. The mountain flight that goes each day to show Everest and other Himalayas from Kathmandu goes via the Nagarkot route.


Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Flying to Kathmandu along the northern border of Nepal on a clear day is in itself an exciting and memorable experience. As you fly, the panoramic view of snow-capped Annapurna mountain range greets your sight.

After Visa formalities complete, you have to come downstairs to collect Luggage and proceed to outside from terminal Building. Day 02: Sightseeing Kathmandu valley After Breakfast 9 AM your City guide come with vehicles and will brief details your plan for sightseeing tour of 4 Popular UNESCO Heritage sites of Kathmandu Valley. Our first destination is Swoyambhunath. This place offers a majestic view of the entire Kathmandu valley. Stupa of Swoyambhunath epitomizes Buddhism. Your guide will enlighten you with detailed historical and cultural information about the place. After this you will visit Living goddess home and Kathmandu Durbar square. Locally this, Old royal palace area is called Basantapur Area or Hanuman dhoka Durbar Square. Our next sightseeing will be at Boudha nath (the biggest & Largest Buddhist Stupa in the World). In this Area, you will visit Buddhist Monastery and stop for lunch Break. If weather is clear you can see nearest Mountain of Kathmandu- Ganesh Himal from top of Restaurant.

After Lunch, we will visit Hindus temple Pasupatinath and tour for today is finished. It normally takes 5-6 hours tour to visit all these 4 monuments within Kathmandu city. Afternoon free day in Kathmandu for preparation Trek

Day 03: Kathmandu – Sundarijal – Chisapani (2150m) 5 HRS (A, B,L,D) DRIVE FROM Kathmandu. TO SUNDARIJAL. TRAIL CLIMBS UP THROUGH MIXED FOREST AND PASS THE MULKHARKA VILLAGE TO CHISOPANI DANDA. In a clear day there are good views of mountain from east to west. there are good view of mountain and Kathmandu. Valley.

Day 04: Chisapani Nagarkot 2163m) 5/6 HRS (A,B,L,D) An interesting trail takes us to the hill retreat of Nagarkot, perched on a ridge 32 km east of Kathmandu. It commands sweeping views of the Himalayas. Five of the world's ten highest peaks, Everest, Lhotse, Choyu, Makalu and Manaslu are visible from here. Nagarkot is also a popular spot to watch sunrise and sunset.

Day 05: Nagarkot - Dhulikhel ) 6 HRS (A,B,L,D) The trail climbs up to the tower of Nagarkot. From the tower there are excellent views of mountain including view of Mt Everest and Kahmandu valley. Trail descends through rhododendron forest and villages to Dhulikhel. In a clear day there are excellent view of eastern Himalaya.

Day 06: Dhulikhel – Kathmandu (A,B) Trail ascent steeply through forest to the ridge. From the ridge there are good views of mountain and valley. The trail passes many villages and terrace to reach to Namoboudha. There are some interesting Tibetan monasteries.

Day 07: Kathmandu (A,B) Shopping and relax

Day 08: Happy departure Our driver and airport representative drive you to the airport in time for your flight back home. We ensure that you leave Kathmandu with cherishing memory and an experience of a lifetime.
