Annapurna Sanctuary Trek combines some of the most spectacular mountain scenery, providing a fascinating insight into the modern Mountain life of Nepal. Unique Annapurna Sanctuary trek along high hills and snow-capped mountains to ridges, passes, jungles, fauna and flora and exquisite communities, there is everything Trekkers would like to experience. We will discover steep snow-clad ridges falling from Hiunchuli on the left and Machhapuchhre on the right to the entrance of the Sanctuary. As we pass through the “gate” and enter to the Sanctuary, you find yourself in a huge amphitheatre enclosed by a solid wall of snow-capped peaks. The first start of Annapurna Sanctuary trek is mainly through the charming mid-hill countryside, passing by pretty villages and terraced farms, with occasional glimpses of Annapurna South up the Modi Khola canyon. At Ghandruk, the mountains get much nearer; Annapurna South with Hiunchuli dominates the view here. Hiking up to Poonhill early in the morning brings you to the place where you can have awesome view of Annapurna Mountain Range, Dhaulagiri Mountain Range, Nilgiri Mountain and much more. The path ahead to Ghorepani via Tadapani is through dense temperate forests; it is a lovely walk with superb views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre from Bhaisi Kharka and Tadapani. As the steep climb to Chomrong begins, the snow capped peaks gradually show up: Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and even the tip of Gangapurna far away. The vista from Annapurna Base Camp is mind-blowing: Hiunchuli, the colossal Annapurna South, with its snow-clad north ridge extending to Annapurna I. Peering above a moraine wall, the Tent and Fluted Peaks, and beyond them, Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Gandharba Chuli. And directly east, Machhapuchhre, its enormous rocky massif reaching for the sky.
